A San Diego native who graduated from Clairemont's Madison High school in 1968, Jim started his construction career in 1971 building many of the interstate highway bridges you drive on every day.
Having spent the majority of the past four decades in new home construction; he is a master framer, wood engineer, and designer. Jim has designed over 50 upgrades used by large tract home builders and has reputable colleagues in the plumbing, painting, electrician, and roofing trades. His time with large corporate builders is now spent finding the mistakes made by less skilled laborers and solving problems that effect the overall budget and timeline of the project.
In his personal life, Jim lives with his wife in the Rancho Penasquitos area. They have 3-children, and 9-grandchildren. His hobbies include organic gardening, watching the Chargers, the Padres, and body surfing at Marine Street beach during the summer. Every night as he sleeps he has dreams about building something, with a mantra that begins and ends with: "I love it when a plan comes together."
